Noticed by AFRICA VISION in 2004 because of his quality service and excellent workmanship, the company offered him the position of a motor vehicles repair workshop manager at the age of 20 and was the youngest manager in the entire company and just one year later in 2005, he was promoted to the position of the head of the maintenance department overseeing 6 major workshops.
In July 2006, Benedicte left his home country because of political conflicts and moved to Cape Town South Africa. In 2007, BATTERY EXPRESS CC employed him as an Automotive Electrician Assistant, and sent him for a course to qualify as a battery specialist at SOUTH AFRICAN BATTERIES (PTY) LTD on a year contract.
In 2008, he was offered a permanent position of an Assistant Automotive Electrician at WOODGRAY’S AUTO ELECTRICAL AND AIR CONDITIONERS, in the meanwhile he continued to further his Studies and in June 2010 He qualified as a Motor Engineer. Because of his excellent quality service and great performance, in 2012 Benedicte was promoted from the Assistant electrician he was to the breakdowns and field Technician and was nominated the Key employee of the company and for all his years in this organization, he was the employer’s technician of choice to service the company’s major clients like UNITRANS SUPPLY CHAIN fuel and chemical division, VALUE LOGISTICS, MOOSA’S ENTREPRISES, VECTORS, DRIVE CAM AND SAFE STOP INSTALLATIONS, IMPERIAL LOGISTICS, and many more.
In 2014 he was offered the position of Automotive Electrician by IMPERIAL SUPPORT SERVICES Cape Town, a division of the Imperial Logistics. Seeing the involvement of advanced electronics in the motor industry, Benedicte went back to college and in 2014, he qualified with another Diploma in Electronic Engineering from ICG Cape Town and later in 2023 he qualified as a Mechatronics and Robotics Engineer from the Engineering Institute of Technology. In March 2017, Benedicte decided to go full time operating GHP ELECTRONICS (PTY) LTD, a company that he first registered in May 2014.
